In 2024 alone, Canadians reported 108,876 cases of financial fraud to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre, involving the loss of more than $638 million. The reality is even worse, since it is estimated that only 5%-10% of frauds are reported.

GSC is the only charity in Canada to focus entirely on helping seniors recognize and deal with the threat of financial fraud. Our approach is educational, practical and empowering. Our seminars and webinars provide the practical information and tools seniors need to protect themselves from scams, or to recover most effectively, should they fall victim. Our Senior Support Fund provides additional guidance and support for Canadian seniors who have been victimized. 

Our education hub continues to grow, informed by our experience and by feedback from participants in our activities.
